01. Skin Technology

To understand skin absorption based on form/component and to develop products that fit our purpose of development, we are using research results on absorption of effective materials to select the optimal forms/components.

02. Mask Technology

GENIC has various forms of mask technology with hydrogel process technology including general sheet masks, and also made forms of cream mud, gel, etc. into masks. We are continuing research/development on making all forms into masks so that we can make excellent and effective products that can be easily used. Masks are not only convenient to use, but they also elevate the skin temperature by covering the skin, increasing its absorption rate.


Reference for relationship between skin temperature and absorption of cosmetic components The skin penetration of effective cosmetic products increase by 1.4~4.0 times when the skin temperature is increased by 5℃~10℃
The skin absorption rate of effective cosmetic products changes depending on the temperature of the surface of the skin, where heating increases absorption of effective products by the skin and enhances blood circulation, assisting skin improvement by helping the metabolism.

03. Hydrogel
The first to develop a “water-soluble hydrogel face mask” in Korea

Hydrogel mask is a mask manufactured using the Gelling system that delivers high level of moisture for a long time and allows direct absorption of nutrients by the skin This involves effective components subject to Gelling responding to the skin temperature and melting, where the skin temperature that is higher than that of the gel makes the gel slowly melt and be absorbed by the skin for an effective delivery of nutrients to the skin

  • A drug delivery material platform applied to cosmetics for the first time in Korea
  • Responds to skin temperature to absorb effective components in the gel
  • Prevents rapid evaporation of effective components
  • Currently obtained the first patent in Korea, China, Russia, Japan, USA, and Europe
  • Expanded function to cosmetics such as mask, eyepatch, etc. to even medical areas

04. Film Cosmetic
The first to develop a “ultra thin layer water-soluble biofilm” in Korea

Next-gen cosmetic technology of thin water-soluble biofilm that was developed for the first time in Korea, not including any harmful components to the skin but only retaining beneficial cosmetic components such as vitamins, ceramide, etc. in high concentrations

  • Effective components are applied to the ultra thin film layer so that the high concentration of effective products come in contact with the skin and essence and melt to be delivered to the skin, allowing immediate absorption and effect
  • No preservatives
  • Highlighted as next-generation cosmetic technology

05. Resarch & Innovation
The GENIC affiliated research institute is working hard to develop safe raw materials and products with high effectiveness to attain innovative forms.
We are continuing research and development for sustainable, environment-friendly forms and materials and to develop products with no animal raw materials.

GENIC’s hydrogel base and cataplasma base have been certified for their biodegradability by international testing organizations.
